The App Store won't let me d/l DJI Assistant 2 or DJI Go 4 to my Mac. 12.7.6 (21H1320), Monterey. I don't use my iPhone as a controller. I use a smart controller and it is saying I have the latest version, but that's just the smart controller...I want to use a RID module on my Mavic Pro 2, but the drone needs updated firmware any suggestions? I would use it film adventures with girlfriend and dog (hiking swimming fishing riding dirtbikes and offroading ). Id also use it to check out roofs and survey property and check on animals. I'm from Hawaii but I currently live in Georgia.

Spektrum xmitters are too thick for pinch finger controlling.

Use some proper battery soldering flux so you should not want to scrub your battery surface. And use sone normal flux to solder and tin wire. use flat head soldering iron with minimum of 60 watt

35 years of gaming has me thumbing naturally. I can fly either way , but the pinch method feels awkard and not having my fingers readily available to press on the top buttons, sets off my OCD. The overall design and position of the buttons of the RC2 kinda spells out how the controller is designed to be used. As for the pinch method, I think if it were a radio instead of a controller, and acro instead of fixed flying there would definitely be a possibility that a pincher could have the feeling of more control. Especially if they started out flying planes and Heli's before drones were available. At that time radios were so large, pinching was really the only method. That being said whatever puts a smile on your face is probably the right way.

If you put 2x 18650 battery but very good quality 35A 3000mA= 6000mA fly time 40 minute 😂😂 old battery is 1800mA 2x=3600mA fly time 18 or 20 minutes big difference 😮

A portable spot-welder is pretty cheap now a day.

I'm a thumber (Mini4Pro+RC2) .. Puting center of my thumbs on top of the sticks is secure enough to move the sticks smoothly in all directions. Plus side is that this leave other fingers to press the controller buttons while holding the sticks in current positions.

these sony murata cells will work fine. the original cells can handle 120c or 140c, but that will never be used - the battery connector can't handle that current (if the drone draws that much current, the battery will die in a few seconds, not 20- 30 minutes) your soldering iron doesn't have enough power to solder well such thick wires...

I would have to feel the difference… but i really feel in a ground vehicle, this might be worth it for the weight… carrying speed is better than top speed, so it may be worth it…

Building a 7 inch drone efficiency long range and endurance drone , definitely will be using molicel p45a cells in 6s 1p self made battery.. looks safer than polymer battery, also it's just a hobby for me so not be flying everyday which in lipo case might degrade the battery more compared to li ion battery that has longer and more charge cycle.. my main purpose is just to have a cinematic mavic like drome build. Not flying fast and acro just going high altitude 😅

I purchased a Ghost drone 2.0 and the battery lasted 4 flights before the batteries puffed up. Customer service was none existent. So its been sitting on the shelf for 3 years. I recently purchased a lithium polymer battery twice the size as the ones that failed on me. I also bought a versatile charger. Do I have to use the original battery monitor and on/off circuitry? or can I just plug in my DIY battery . Id really appreciate your ideas. oh i also purchased the iOS model...being an android guy all the way. Can i download the android software to avoid wasting money on ios?

I made 2 li ion packs from samsung, i have a 6s 5in drone and a 6s 10in drone i ran the packs in parallel and it just made weird sounds in the motors, i only did a hover test but not sure everything is nice a secure and properly soldered i was hoping this would work but i guess i have to do more testing and maybe my dji o3 and gps along with the fc and huge 3314 motors with 900kv , i was trying to see how or what iflight uses to make the fullsail 8000mah li ion pack but no deal i purschased a graphene lipo 6000mah and i get about 8 mins of cruising time

12:26 yeah, I’ve done that once. Quickest way to give myself a heart attack. Luckily there wasn’t a fire, just a lot of sparks and a COMPLETELY dead battery. I’ve actually tried this numerous times, but until today when I watched your video, I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. But i figured it out, thank you.

something strange is that the old mini 2 had 27 mins of fight time till forced landing and it was 23 mins on the mavic mini the lithuim ion lasted shorter then the lipo

Hi there can you jumpstart a battery. Bought mine from DJI for my 2 zoom, used twice It sat for few months without a charge due to heartache and stroke I had. Went to charge it and no go. No litghts nothing will not even power up drone. No lights to touch dead. Now my question is can you jump start it with a charged battery. When I get a dead dewalt battery that won’t charge I grab one hook up +to+and neg to neg. Sparks for second and I can put it on the charger and it will begin charging. It’s on you tube. But never saw anything for the DJI batteries. Any thoughts? Thanks
